Privacy Policy for Healsy Orthotics Foot Scan
Effective Date: 10-Jul-2025
Introduction
Healsy Orthotics Foot Scan ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy and complying with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect data collected through our mobile application ("the App").
Data Collection and Use
The App does not require user registration or sign-up.
The App does not collect or store any personal information directly on your device.
The App allows podiatrists to scan patients’ feet and capture lower limb photographs solely for clinical use to assist in prescribing custom orthotics.
All scan data and images are immediately and securely uploaded to AWS (Amazon Web Services) cloud storage and are not stored locally on your device.
Purpose of Data Collection
The data collected via the App is intended exclusively for use by qualified podiatrists within clinical settings in Australia.
The App does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment directly to patients.
Data Storage and Security
All collected data is securely transmitted using encryption protocols (e.g., HTTPS/TLS) and stored on AWS cloud servers.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect data from unauthorized access, misuse, loss, or disclosure.
Patient Consent
As the App is intended for use only by healthcare professionals, it is the responsibility of each clinic or podiatrist to obtain informed consent from patients before collecting any scan data or images.
Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or share any collected data with third parties.
Data is accessible only to authorized podiatrists and their clinics using the App for clinical purposes.
No Payments or In-App Purchases
The App does not contain any payment systems or in-app purchase features.
Access and Correction
Because no personal accounts are created and no personal information is stored directly within the App, there is no user data available for access or correction via the App.
Any inquiries regarding patient data should be directed to the respective clinic or podiatrist who collected the data.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The most current version will always be available within the App or on our website.
